Pacesetters, Kooks, QTP, FLP, Edelbrock, Hooker... ANYTHING is better than SLPs.

3 years running with Hooker LT's and ORY and no scrapes. After I put the Eibach Pro-kit on(over a year now), it will scrape over very large speedbumps. And it isnt even my headers scraping, it's more like the catback where it connects to the ORY.

QTP headers have awesome clearance, however the Ypipe is obvious hanging down below the car and hits everything...

Yeah, my QTP headers don't scrape, but the Y-pipe is another story. It's
pretty bad, and I even had a reputable shop put them in... I don't have pics
but it almost comes down to half of a coke can on the driver's side, and I'm
stock height.

Just something to keep in mind...

My FLP's do not scrape at all and I had Hooker's for around a year....nothing.
SLP = bigass header. But it is up to you if you really want to lose those 45 rwhp points!!!!! hahahahaha. Anyone even come close to that with SLP's? Just curious...

i have stepped Kooks headers and they tuck up just as nice as the stock exhaust i'd say. my kooks ory(after some tweaking by a local exhaust guy) fits beautifully. clearance is great, and i play to drop it with an eibach prokit here in the near future and koni shocks.

pacesetters have good ground clearance too....just ditch those SLP's ASAP. they don't make great HP on average either....

My QTPs fit great and I haven't scrapped anything yet. The onlything I've scrapped is my cutout but that's an easy fix

now... for my opinion on headers that wont scrape... if you want to lower your car and not have to worry about EVER scraping... i would probably go with the mac midlengths. good performance, good price. having said that... long tubes that are better are like everyone else said, ANYTHING that isn't SLP.

i've even heard a guy LOST around 20 h.p. going from hooker headers to SLP. wtf?!

QTP's are great for ground clearance, and my true duals are pretty good too! Only scraped em once, right after i got em, and i wasn't aware of how high a particular speed bump was....
