so what do you think about this header design?
i am building a conversion car and this header has popped up. I am posting this in this section because it has more to do with exhaust flow/ HP then it does with fitting in a 67 camaro. please read it and let me know what you think? I want to be sure my $$$ is well spent. I currently have a set of modified pace setter headers.
thanks

look nice, I think it's just a different type of collector though. If memory serves there's some good info about it in one of the stickys (either this forum, or new Ls1 owners).
The theory, should be sound. If the merge is better and promoting greater scavenging then they should produce more power. (same sort of difference between H or X mid pipes).
However, how much more is arguable. It also may affect the driveability, by pushing the PEAK torque further up the rev range.
I see two options.
1. If you have the money and want to try them out, you will certainly not loose anything.
2. If you already have some headers, save the money for something else, as you possible won't see a massive difference.
If all depends on how much money you're prepared to spend and what you want from the car. If it's only going to be a fast street car, then trying to find every last pony will be expensive and for most of the time pretty pointless (you can't drive at WOT all the time, no matter how hard you try).
If it's a race car or more strip focused then, yes every possible benifit will be worth while.
