Default Which headers for 2002 z28?

I want to know which would be the best headers to get for my car. I just bought it a month ago and would like to start modifying it. I only have magna flow cat back system so far... I have a 2002 z28 (auto). Any other suggestions after the headers would be appreciated too...

i ordered my pacesetter coated long tubes with there ory pipe along with new MSD 8.5 wires and NGK TR55 plugs.and 2 3" cutouts.Pacesetter headers come with 02 extensions but not simulators. you will also need to buy or reuse factory exhaust manifold gaskets, along with 3 3" band clamps ( got mine from napa). without 02 simms you will set a ses light, so get simms or get a tune.

I too have a 02 Z28 automatic and im absolutly in love with my car ive only had it about 6 months now.

pacesetters are the overall best header for the money, but overall every LT header will give you the same performance. Kooks and other stainless headers just cost WAY too much IMHO, but they will look good practically forever so, it really depends on your priorities.

Were i to get headers, coated pacesetters for me would be the obvious choice. Also if you don't want to mess with the whole O2 sims and emissions crap, i'd recommend picking up a couple of Magnaflow cats and having a shop weld them into the Y pipe for you. At least, that's what I would do...

Our Pacesetters came with gaskets, and the extensions are just a splice wire with butt connectors...

Also the PS ORY we got came with clamps... *shrug*

never never, splice and use butt connectors, bad bad, it will cause a voltage drop on the o2 circuit, and consider that the o2 only produce a little bit of voltage that could throw your fuel trims, if you dont have the proper extensions, cut more wire and solder it into the o2 harness to extend it, dont use butt connectors

LOL, actually I didn't say I would, I was just saying that is their idea of an O2 sensor extension. If anything soldering, with heatshrink, and heat tubing. Better yet we plan the O2 extension PNP...
