lmao!

The exhaust is over pumped by most people and they get it in their head that it sounds better than anything.... EVER....

Its a relative subject, but I personally dont like it, and wouldn't run it.

Only a $100 difference, and that extra $100 goes to GMMG because you can't beat the sound.

Mufflex also sells a system with a single tailpipe for $450. How
you put an XR1 muffler or a magnaflow race muffler on a 3.5" or 4" single exit, it may look , but it will outflow just about every catback out there....

BTW, I've had a 3.5 Mufflex with a Dynomax Ultra Flo trash can muffler, switched it out with a GMMG because I couldn't get used to the single tip, the GMMG sounds awesome, but I could definitely feel a loss of power from the Mufflex, with the Mufflex, it felt like the car was pulling more past 3500, with the GMMG, it feels like it's almost choking it. No dyno comparisons, only my butt-o-meter....

I like the no tail pipes look on a camaro. It is a much cleaner look IMHO.

Do you have any flow statistics for GMMG, I've looked and searched and seen NONE.

I haven't seen any specs either, but i'd guess they flow pretty well just by looking at them.

yeah, but looks can be deceiving, aparantly the original GM ones from the 60's actually flow worse than most normal mufflers. Some thing rediculas like 175-200cfm.

This is far from scientific, but I've heard of people only showing a couple hp gain with a cutout over the gmmg on a dyno. A cutout is usually only good for a few hp over the loudmouth or magnaflow also. I would bet the gmmg flows somewhere between the loudmouth and a chokemaster. I'd be interested to hear some #'s also though.

If you guys want to talk about flow talk to Ron at GMMG. They have been tested on the dyno back to back against true dual and flowed just the same if not better. As for sound, I have heard many LS1s with lotsa different catbacks and while most sound god i must say my gmmg sounds the best. I cant wait until my KOOKS headers get here either. I sure do love my redneck str8pipe sounding waste of money exhaust.

I say Mufflex w/ Spintech. But that's just my opinion. I had a 4" Spintech for about a month on my '02 Z before I swapped it out to 3" Flowmaster TD's. The Spintech had a really good sound.

Meh, think what you want. I'll let the 30 votes for GMMG to the 10 votes for Mufflex speak for itself
