AIR parts question! (Pics inside)
AIR parts question! (Pics inside) I'm in the middle of removing my AIR ****. I've read the tutorial on ls1camaro.net and a couple of other places. Nowhere have I read that says this piece is invovled. Looks like a valve that lets the fresh air into the exhaust manifolds.
Question is, do I leave this on there or take it off and cap off the vaccum line that ran to it.

That is the valve thing that opens and closes. If you don't cap the line running into it you will have vacuum problems. I just put mine onto a bolt that it would fit on. No problems.
I removed that piece and all the other hoses running into as well as the air pump down below. Don't forget to pull your fuses as well.
