i want to put an offroad y pipe on my 2002 ss and mti told me that i cant do that without buying headers that it wont bolt of to my stock ones....any ideas there?
Bassani makes one, I think Mufflex does, Mufflex
also makes "offroad tubes" that swap in for cats,
or you can just gut a pair. All for stock logs /
shorties. None of them are too cheap and long
tubes will work better if you're not an owned
bitch of the State. Which is the misfortune of
many....
If this is your case, the tubes or gutted cats,
and stock or SLP stainless Y-pipe make going
back for your annual rubber glove session an
afternoon's worth of aggravation putting back
the functioning cats (for sniffer regimes).
Otherwise, sims or code killing and forget it.
