bad miss i changed my spark plugs yesterday and everything was fiine but when i started it today it had a horrible miss. i took it to a friend who has the snap-on scantool and it showed that #4 and # 7 had a constant miss. he stalled it up in gear the #7 miss went away but the #4 stayed. what is the problem, oh it has the msd 8.5mm wires. also how much is an intake gasket going to run me. we heard a small air leak that we thought was comming from the front of the intake.

Yeah, check #4 and #7 wires/plug gap. Don't know about the air leak you heard, if you're not getting a code I wouldn't worry about it - the intake has individual gaskets for each cyl, unless you think it's from the EGR pipe connection.
