I have everything but the switch. What kind of switch do I need? There are many to choose from and want to make sure I get the right one. Do I need a 2 position, 3 position, momentary etc? Thanks!

So my understanding is this...
I need a 3 position switch correct? Position 1 is neutral, position 2 is up and position 3 is down? Let me know if this is correct.

or a fixed 3 position. Keep it in the middle(closed). Flip it up until it's open, the flip back to middle. Then when you want it closed, flip it down until it's closed, then back to the middle...?
