Default QTEC cutout open/close switch...

I have everything but the switch. What kind of switch do I need? There are many to choose from and want to make sure I get the right one. Do I need a 2 position, 3 position, momentary etc? Thanks!

So my understanding is this...
I need a 3 position switch correct? Position 1 is neutral, position 2 is up and position 3 is down? Let me know if this is correct.

I have a street pro cutout and it uses a three position momentary switch.

So a 3 position, either fixed or momentary will work correct? As long as there is a neutral and two others...

or a fixed 3 position. Keep it in the middle(closed). Flip it up until it's open, the flip back to middle. Then when you want it closed, flip it down until it's closed, then back to the middle...?

I went to the dealership, and bought a convertable top switch. I wired it (well, my friend did) up so that it looks stock, except I have no convertable top!

You need a DPDT switch wired up for reversing for a electric cutout.

the convertible top works like this, so that works great, so does a window switch
