Stock Exhaust MOD Ok, I am a little strapped for cash, so I was wondering if anyone can give me some details on this:
I have a friend who mentioned something about welding a section of exhaust pipe between the muffler inlet and outlet to reduce back pressure at WOT. My questions is this: Where can I find more info on this mod, (details, instructions, etc.) and has any of you tried this and how'd it work.

Cutout maybe? There's an explanation and a couple ideas on how to put one on at www.installuniversity.com in the exhaust section.
If you want an exhaust quick fix, pick yourself up a Dynomax bullet, remove the stock exhaust right in front of the axle. Put the bullet on the I pipe. That's the cheapest way. If you want to spend a little more, go to an exhaust shop and have them fab you up a pipe to go over the axle, split it and run two tailpipes.

Better yet 99blue-Z, Why don't you go with a dual exhaust system using 2 1/2 inch pipes and go over the axle with both of them and have them exit out the rear from beneath the bumper in the stock location? True duals will not be all that expensive. True duals will fix you exhaust problems and you can stop
