I have read on this site about guys having success with exhaust tape/wrap. Are you using NAPA band clamps? They help too.

my kit only came with two fat 3"wide clamps i use those to connnect the pipes to the headers. the other three clamps were not even an 1" wide. yeah i think i should buy 3 more of the fat ones an replace them.

Those other clamps do not look good under the car either. I bought 2 band clamps from NAPA and replaced 2 of the U-shaped clamps. Between 2 stores I could only find 2 clamps. I'm going to keep buying 1 new clamp every so often until I have all of the U-shaped clamps replaced.

As said above band clamps, or weld it . They only send you 2 band clamps with the pipe. The other 4 are junk.

Edit: You already have it. I vote for band clamps all around

How far in did you insert each peice of the Y pipe when you put it in? If you got at least 1 1/2 inches or so inserted band clamps should stop any noticeable leaks. They suck down onto the pipes pretty good. Don't be afraid to really jam on them when installing. Option 2.. Line it up right where you want it tac weld, uninstall, weld, re-install .Ya I know, I haven't done that yet either.

I'm having a similar problem w/ my setup. I'm just going to take it to the exhaust shop and have them put a weld on all the connections.
