Hi
The headers are coated, but it is not as good as other ceramic coatings like Jet Hot. It is much better then paint, but it will break down much faster then other HT coatings. My Y pipe was painted black.

MAcs I used MACs for my first set of headers and went with the catted y-pipe and it was ok. Six months later I ordered the ory pipe because I had just about flattened the drivers side cat after the Pro kit went on. But thats when the car started talking. I could not believe how much louder it was. Not to mention the power increase. After three years, they really started to look ugly and they ticked alot because they never made a good seal to the heads. Now I have Kooks 1"7/8 with the 3" ory and I have better ground clearance. And yes there is a big performance difference. I still have the MAC's w/ y-pipes if anyone is looking for some headers.
