exhaust guestion? i just got paceseters and a off road y-pipe.and it has a flowmaster on the end with tips cut off.the flowmaster does not not sound right and it does not have that low deep rumble.i was thinking of cutting the flowmaster off and putting straight pipes back and putting custom tips on.is this a good idea or what do you think?

Depends on how loud you want it. Straight pipes IMO would be way to loud...The best catback I've heard to date (In person) was a custom Hooker 3" in 3" out with a turn down. This was mated to a 3" intermediate pipe, ORY with flowmaster merge and LT's.. NO rasp and was definately deep!

Haven't heard much good about Flowmasters; and it's the only exhaust I've ever heard reffered to with a negative nickname, i.e. 'Slowmaster'. Borlamouth it imo.
