B&B + no cats?

Is anyone running the B&B catback with LTs and no cats? I'm just about ready to complete my exhaust and am wondering how this setup sounds. I've read that a lot of !CAT setups are raspy and smelly. I found this ORY setup which sounds pretty damn mean: LINK . Any others?

I know someone who will be running that but he hasn't got all his stuff in yet. yeah its usually a lil smelly without cats but I think its a good smell

The smell doesnt bother me at all. Actually smells really good. But damn does it get raspy! In my opinion, leave the cat on while running the B&B exhuast. Without the cat, the whole signature sound of B&B is lost.

The sound is awesome. SOunds like no other. I had this setup since 98 on 3 diff cars. If you thinking about it, just do it.

Really??? You like the sound of the B&B and no cats at WOT?...or even when accelerating somewhat aggressiveley past 3000rpms?

Mine is raspy, I dont know about yours. Thats why I just have the exhaust cutout open now.

I changed over to the Hooker catback, because I kept hearing how the B&B doesn't flow very well. I was getting a little tired of the sound without cats, it was pretty raspy.

I kept the tips though, and I'll be putting them back on.

Yeah, it was really confusing... if you search around you'll see a thread I made. Either as LS1Andrew or Gamefan008, I don't remember which... but some people say it flows right up there with the best, and other people say it doesn't make the power.

I can't say that the Hooker really felt all that much better, but I do like the sound. I'm gonna cut out the restriction in my B&B Tips and put them back on (maybe after winter).

The B&B was on the car when I bought it, so I didn't feel too bad swapping it out.
