Delphi MAF

I was just wondering how much a Delphi 85mm costs and if its as good as the slp 85mm maf or better.

Delphi is better than SLP.

SLP IS the delphi maf. If you take the SLP sticker off, "Delphi" is stamped under it. There is no difference.

Sorry guys im new to all of this. This is my first real car. I've heard mention of the delphi and the slp so i got confused.

SLP = Delphi + resistor + sticker.

This is a topic that will give you too many search
results, to read in one sitting.

Short answer is, leave it stock (at least until you
have run out of more effective things to buy).

Do not waste your money. Search the forums and you will find the majority (including those with drastically modified setups) prefer the stock MAF to any aftermarket one. I have personally tried (during the newbie phase) an SLP compared to a stock MAF and I was surprised that I did lose some HP compared to my stock unit.

Suggestion: Clean your stock unit with some basic rubbing alchol and do not port, descreen, or otherwise mod it. Save your money for a ported TB, you will not reget that purchase.
