Default Which Headers

Hey every, first of all sorry for posting another headers thread right after this one, I am kinda new @ this. I have a 99 formula I was wondering 2 things, if their is a best brand of headers, which one is it regardless of price, and which are the best all around headers taking price into consideration. My friend did say FLP were really good. Your advice and answers would be much appreciated!!!!!! =^)

There are tons of these posts. Just search around for them and you will find a lot more than by creating a new thread. You can get 100 answer in 10 minutes or you can get 2 answers in 1.5 hours.

I'd personally get QTP's w/the high velocity merge.

QTP are the best for sure. I have em, and they are worth every penny. Definetly.

I would just get the Pacesetter LT's & spend the rest on other mods.

Now, is the ground clearance on QTP and Kooks good? Like if I wanna lower it a tad will they scrape? Also is the sound good on eithero ne? Right now my formula sounds really nice, I have the loudmouth and I just want a really good sound? Feedback please =)

Exactly NO SLP LONGTUBES. You will kick yourself in the *** when you see how bad your ground clearance is. Well LT's with the Loudmouth is going to sound like **** from what i have heard. It will be loud but very raspy.

First...the search option will answer most of your Q's.
If $$ is no option, QTP with merge collectors is the top of the line. I looked at those...and their almost 2K price tag once fitted with catted y-pipe, gaskets, bolts, and shipping.
I personally have the Dynatech SupermaXX LT header package. Stainless steel construction throughout, y-pipe and high-flo cats included (stainless steel also), subperb install instructions, and also includes every bolt, extension, etc needed to install. The price tag was about $500 less than the QTP, including sending them off for Jet-Hot coating.
BTW, both have excellent ground clearance.

If budget isnt a big issue I would go with Kooks headers. If your looking to save a little money to spend on other mods for your car, I definitly recommend the cermamic coated pacesetters and our Ypipe. The pacesetters are some of the most easily installed headers and our Ypipe will give you enough adjustability to get it to fit just right.

If you want the best get Kooks Stainless Steel. If you are going to go cheaper, get Coated Pacesetters. Nothing in between

Coated pacesetters here. Extremely easy install, noticable performance gain and great price! Save the extra $$ for other mods...
