Loud is...

A F13, kooks 1 3/4 LT's into dual DMH 3" electric cutouts 12" off the collectors.
A second gear throttle stab will guarantee the traffic in front of me to move and part like the red sea. People standing at the bus stop jump four steps back away from the road. Tailgating is 100% eliminated. If you like the sound of open headers, going with the QTP headers, dual cutout y, and GMMG will give you the best of both worlds.

My .02 cents.

i can set off car alarms now(cut-out open with shorty headers and cats), but i dont consider it loud. Now when i get a chance to put the f13 cam and long tubes w/ ORY on, it might be loud, maybe a little too loud to leave the cutout open.

Well I have set car alarms off in a parking lot when the cars were next to me by just firing up my car. All I have is a LM and soon I'll be putting on LTs with ORY so I'll find out what loud is and see how long I can take it before buying a new catback.

I went open headers for a day, that **** is ******* loud. Nothing else compares wish i would have had a cam installed though just to be able to see what it would have sounded like. But i guess when i do decide on installing a cam i can do it again.

I think my lt's, ory, and magnaflow are quite tame. I will be putting in dual cutouts soon, but i have heard much louder. I'm probably gonna go duals soon, just because my magnaflow isnt loud enough for me.

I started my car the other day with open headers so I could pull it back into the garage after I had to roll it out. DAMN! my little bro about ****.

I was running my setup (HPE S cam 238/242, 5.3L heads) with LT's ORY and a cutout for about 6 months. it was damn loud, but it's not a DD. some old dude in the parking lot at work said "man, that's awesome, I haven't heard a car like that in 30 years!" ...he must not get out much...

My setup is pretty loud, true duals with sweet thunder chambered mufflers and an F14 cam. The true duals sound tame compared to open headers though. I had to drive it with open headers and I couldn't stay off the gas enough, people were turning around from a couple blocks ahead. It made everything raddle in the car including my brain. Maybe it wouldn't of been so bad if I wasn't stalled to 4000.

werd, this vig3200 isn't that high, but makes it sound like i'm trying to haul *** even if i'm trying to go real slow. great for parking garages.

My peanut cammed LG4 is loud with the cutout open, but it seems quite at the dragstrip compared to other cars with lots of overlap.
