What do you concider "LOUD"

Yeah I feel that my Magnaflow with LT's and a ORY is pretty quite...
I guess that still means it's fairly loud, just not as loud as some others. To me, LTs into some duals with bullets is loud....... or my friend's 00 SS with LTs and ORY into Loudmouth with an FM13 cam.

My qtp,ory,dynomouth makes some noise especially from behind.But my old 79 z28 I drove a while back with just headers for six months every day was pretty loud you just had to know how to work the throttle to keep the noise down and coast by officers! But that wasn't even close to the time when my dad fired up a small block on an engine stand in the shop with NO EXHAUST AT ALL! There were flames shooting out the exhaust ports,every time a cylinder fired it felt like it was sucking your eardrums out.He was just standing next to it smoking a cigarette and adjusting the valves while it ran like it was no big deal.A little to hardcore for me.

loud was when we had our built 454 started for the first time on an engine stand with no exhaust at all...we had to tune it while it was on the stand revving that SOB was insane...I bet you could hear that thing from a mile away..Sounded sweet though!!!
I can take pretty much anything... loud to me is a Funny Car less than 35 yards from me... even THE LOUDEST vehicle I've EVER heard... you can run open headers on an LS1 and I wouldn't consider it loud.

Well I just redefined loud for myself (at least as far as cars). Basically finished up the TSP true duals tonight. took a spin down hwy 249 to the beltway and back. decided to stop and pick up some taco bell on the way home. Sure, I've been asked to turn off the car at a drive through. but never before have I had to turn it off willingly because I couldn't hear what the person in the speakerbox was saying. until now.
