install of thermo, any computer adjustments needed? about to install 160 t-stat, wanted to make sure there was nothing additional that I had to do. Is it just a simple swap out with the stock 195 t-stat, and then its all set?? thanks alot

so pretty much i can either buy the fan switch from SLP to make the fans turn on, or get it modified by HPtuners by the guy that first tuned my car. which would be the better way to go? thanks your yalls help
Probably would want to reset the fan control limits inside the computer. It would suck to have to switch the fans on every time you get into the car. Plus you really don't know how hot your car is running without a programmer. I have a 160 and I used my programmer to reajust the limits plus I have a fan switch to use at the track or in town.
If you have plans to get a programmer get the Diablo from Running With The Devil. They offer free tunes if you buy from them. If you have plans, you may have a friend with HP tuners. You will definantly need tuning after long tubes
ok thanks alot. i had my car tuned at Fastech so ill go back to them and have them take care of that. i didnt want to have to switch the fans on all the time, plus it would be unnecessary bc i can get it tuned.

just took another look at the car, and realized that the water pump is out. we installed a new 195 thermo to see if its the porblem and it wasnt. could the water pump be causing the over heating problem??
