Default Throttle Body

What size of throttle body should i put on my 2002 camaro ss,stock size or 90, or something diffrent. I,m stuck between BBk and Fast. Althought Fast is a good brand, they're pretty expensive. What do yall think BBk,FASt or something else?

Depends on what you plan on doing with it. If you're going to put a big cam or head/cam package in it I would go with the FAST 90mm manifold/intake. Otherwise maybe just have your stock tb ported.

Do not follow his advice if youre keeping your stock ls6 intake manifold. The intake throat is only 78mm so even if a 90mm TB would bolt up (which it wont) the 90mm bore meeting the ledge of the 78mm intake opening will cause turbulence and slow velocity quite a bit. If you want to go all out, get a FAST 90mm intake and a NW 90 mm TB, however this will run you 1k+. If youre on a budget like most of us are, just get your stocker ported or do it yourself. Also, you may find a lot of complaints about BKK intake and TB products.

I would recommend porting your stocker unless you are going to have a setup that absoultely needs the 90mm inlet. We need to know more about your current setup and your plans in order to give you an answer with any merit.

Well i'm completly stock at the moment but i have been posting on the site and trying to get more information on what i should add to get the best results. Some say headers and a good exahust system, some say a cam. A friend told me to change my intake, tb, and maf sensor. So im kinda getting diffrent information from diffrent people. At the moment i wanted to buy some headers but i'm a little confused on which ones to buy, there are a lot of brands of headers to choose from and i want to make the right choice and get the ones that will give me maximum results. For the future i was plannin to but a bigger cam. Before anything i wanted to change the maf, tb, and intake, and add a k&n filter but people have been saying that this is not a good idea. What is you opinion?

Get your stock throttle body ported for now. You'll gain anywhere from 5-10 rwhp from that. Later on down the road after you have done all of the bolt-ons, and either a big cam or heads/cam, then get a FAST 90mm intake and a Nick Williams 90mm throttle body to go along with it.
