Default sweet thunder cat-back?

I was wondering if anyone has attempted to fab together a cat-back system with a sweet thunder chambered muffler in the i-pipe. kind of like a sweet thunder-mouth. i assume the 18 inch 3 in-3 out muffler would work? i would be very interested in this system after i get my Lt's and ORY soon. anyone heard of somebody doing this? any thoughts?!?!?!

Whoa whoa thats expensive....I bought my car used with a LM already installed with stock manifolds/cats. I was just really dissapointed with the quality of sound with the LM, and to be honest, the overall noise as well. I bought the Stainless Steel 18" Sweet Thunder for $70, and installed it in place of the resonator. It sounded better, but basically just as loud. The sound quality was better, a little deeper, and not as much resonance inside. Even though the differences aren't night and day, for $70, I think its worth it. I ended up selling the complete catback to a member and bought a Corsa for something a little more civil and quiet. So ya, thats all I got for ya...

It's been done by several others on this board. I've heard it's pretty loud.
I know the sweet thunders sound great on a True dual setup with an x pipe.

well i bought a Texas Speed catback and replaced the Dynomax in the I-pipe with a Sweet Thunder bullet. From there, it's straight-thru pipes out the back.

It's the best sounding exhaust that I've put on my T/A so far, but I do worry that I've lost a few ponies since the core is only 2.5" opposed to the 3" core of the Dynomax.

here's a couple of clips I took:

I have An 18" Sweet thunder welded in the I pipe, and just had my local exhaust shop fab up the rest. It sounds awsome, and as far as flow goes im sure it was better than the "flowcrappers" i had on the car before.
