Header, Y-Pipe question
Header, Y-Pipe question Im going to purchase a set of QTP Headers and Y-pipe for my 200 WS6 but the onlyquestion im confused about is the EGR fitting and the air fittings. I realize that i dont get them i know i have to bypass them somehow how owould i go about doing that so i dont have the check engine light on allt he time? Or i could I get the air and the egr. Also about the catted y and the no catted y? What are the diffrences and the pro and conns of doing this is my question? Hopefully im making some since lol. If you could reply i would help me out during my purchase
you can just buy block off plates for the egr and air system, and need to get your computer reprogrammed so the ses light don't come on. Cats vs. no cats- its all up to you. cats are more expensive and produce less power but in some states where you have to have cats its the only way to go. some people use cats to cut down on rasp from their own exhaust. If you are not in a emmission controlled state then I would reccomend getting a catless y-pipe.
