ive got a grantelli. i think i ma going to be selling it soon though. i talked to a guy at prodyno where i am going to get my car dyno tuned. he said that he cant tune it with the aftermarket one on so i have to go back to stock. i really dont want to but i lack the technical knowlege of knowing what it would do if i left it on.

I had the SLP unit. After I added LT's and Ory there was some slight stumbling. I put the stocker back on and no more stumbling. Definatley get the Lid and do the FRA mod. I would pass on the MAF. It really onlt tricks your PCM If you plan on modding more I have heard it can be a real pain to tune.

what if you have heads, cam, fast 90 and nw90?
I see people have issues and some not. Usually the people I see that have issues are the ones who have a 78mm lid, 85mm maf, 78mm throttle body and a 78mm intake.

I heard that the stock one is good for 500 plus horses so I wouldn't mess with it if it were me. Why don't you check with your tuner and see what he recomends.

well people have made 400+ rwhp with stock manifolds. does that mean long tube headers aren't worth it?

i looked into it, its 600 bucks and takes about 3 days.
he told me honestly i wouldnt see much gains and recommended me just doing the 85mm setup, plus it came out about 250 bucks cheaper.

I've been using the 85mm Pace LS6 MAF for about 4 years now, they even still made? Never given me a problem, and the tuners have never had a problem with it.

I have had 2 85mm Granatelli MAF's. The first one would not tune worth a ****. It popped, sputtered and carried on. I sent it back, because TSP said there maybe a problem with it and they would send me a new one. I asked them to put the new one on a car with a large cam and test it before they sent it to me. Well long story short the new one won't tune worth a **** either.
