Cats?

Cats? I have a cats with an SLP Y pipe and stock manifolds, my car is put away for the winter and was just wondering if taking the cats off requires cutting or if they are bolted on. And would some tubing work to fit in there? I'm wanting a meaner sound with little cost.

Pretty sure they just unbolt. I dont know how cause I was messing around with mine after I took everything off last year - wasnt easy atleast. But yeah just gut them and you will get some free hp.

Even if they are bolted on whether or not you can easily unbolt and re attach them will depend on the extent your car has rusted. I, like many, broke nearly every bolt apart when I took off my exhaust to make the swap. If you can manage, gut them out. Should sound louder/better with the B&B from what I remember...
Edit: Why didn't you just go crawl under you car and look?
When attempting to remove undercar bolts soak the crap out of them with penetrating fluid before hand for at least one day.
