Installed Wires an & Trans Mount..?

Installed Wires an & Trans Mount..? Just installed MSD wires and Energy Suspension trans mount today. I wasn't expecting to feel so much engine vibration after changing the trans mount. I assume that if there were some kind of miss from a bad connection with one of the wires I would have an engine code. I've driven 100+ miles with no codes, is it normal to have alot more engine/drivetrain noise transmitted to the chasis with these mounts? Should I look at anything else or just get used to it?
The poly trans mount will transmit more vibrations into the car. I noticed a lot more clunks and bangs with mine. I've gotten used to it though, but I still have to explain to my passengers what the noises are

I noticed a little vibration while getting up to speed with my poly tranny mount. You will never notice it again in about a week. I LOVE how my shifter never moves up and down anymore, plus the wheel hop seemed to decrease quite a bit.
Throw some poly motor mounts in there! They actually REDUCE vibrations for most people and stiffen things up really well

Noticing that is very common, sold many of em when I worked at a speed shop. I noticed it as well when I put mine on but like was said ealier it wont be a big deal after a while

Check the wires again. One click for the plug, and two clicks for the coils. I left a wire completly off once and there was no code, so it is very possible that that is your problem.

Check all but the dreaded #8. I'll do that next time I'm on the lift. I've run a tank through it, the mileage is normal so I suspect #8 is OK as well. While on the lift I think I'll remove the mount, grind off the preload humps and re-install without the preload plate. This should drop the transmission down closer to its original location and hopefully no preload will decrease some of the vibration?
One quick way to check for a dead cylinder is to get a sqirt bottle and fill it with water and spray each header tube with the engine runnin and if you have a dead cylinder it will be very noticeable this way.
I wouldnt worry about the preload. It will get better harshness wise with driving- they designed the preload for a reason. I have had a couple cars with the ES mount and noticed it go away after a while, may have been in my head but it went away lol.
