Default Pacesetter header question

I am looking at getting some pacesetters for my 01 ta. I wanted to get the race ones because i took off the air. Do they have the spots for the front o2? If not, then what do I do? Also, texas speed has them with a ory for 500, is that a good deal and how easy does their y install?

Thanks,
Chris

Get the race headers. They will have the provisions for the front O2s. Just make sure you get extensions so they will reach. TSP has the plug ins and they work great.

I got their $500 dollar deal back in the earlier summer, couldn't be happier. I would recommend getting band clamps for the y pipe though. That will give you better ground clearance over the u bolt setup that they come with.

Everything Brian said is good info. I hear the TSP y-pipe fits nicely as well.

Band clamps can usually be found at any autoparts store for a couple of bucks each and make for a much better seal and ground clearance.

Dont get the Pacesetter Y. Mine looked terrible, so I got rid of it and got the TSP instead. The TSP does need to be welded though.

No, the TSP doesn't need to be welded. The Pacesetter Y is a piece of junk. As said above spend the extra $40 and get some band clamps.

One more question, the little brace that goes at the end of the y on the stock exhaust, can i remove that with nothing bad happening? I had to put the stock cats back on and the y is hitting it now and i couldnt get it to move away from it. Or is it supposed to rest on it? I spaced it away so it wouldnt hit, or so i thought. Now it bounces off and on.

Thanks,
Chris
