Used lid and save the rest.

25HP from the SLP CAI? Not after you've sat at idle and heated
up the stainless and your IAT sensor, nuh-uh.

I'm against oiled filters on any MAF equipped vehicle.

I agree.

Get a lid and a standard paper Fram fliter. Works great. Skip the other "flowpac" stuff.

Or get the new Amsoil Donaldson type filter and have the best of all worlds (i.e.; high flow, NO oil, reuseable to save money in the long run).

Skip the flow pac, get a lid (any lid will do) if you really want a smooth bellows, do the fernco mod, then get a Fram paper air filter

I think smooth bellows are a waste of time. Aside from not really doing anything, they were a real pita when it comes to getting to your filter. I have to unscrew it from the tb, or unscrew my lid from my maf. The stock bellows was a lot easier because of how its made with that accordian kinda material, it's a lot easier to move around. You can move your lid around and still keep it attached to the bellow and tb.

Next time I replace my air filter(with another paper one) I'm also putting the stock bellows back on.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, especially when the SLP flow pac is made of metal.

You think its a waste of money to do FRTA and smooth bellows, or good enough for the every little bit helps category? I have been reading and there really isnt a def answer, just looking for opinion of somebody who is knowledgable
