Gettin headers soon! I have the Loudmouth exhaust system on my car with an SLP Y-pipe and I'm about to be buying a set of LT's (not sure which kind yet). Will the headers fit on my SLP Y-pipe or do I need to get an ORY-pipe. Also i had a set of Mac headers on the car before but they caused the motor to start leaking so much oil I had to have it completely rebuilt; so any suggestions on a good set of LT headers?

I have the same setup on my 00 SS, but I dont think you can use the slp y-pipe. you will have to buy an aftermarket one. I have heard a lot of good things about Pacesetter headers, many people say they are good quality for the price. Plus TSP has them with the catted ypipe for $700. Or you can spend the extra money and get QTP headers and never have to worry about headers again. hope this helps

The headers delete the AIR and EGR. I got stupid for a minute there, but I have LS1 Edit so i can tune it once the headers are installed
