Default Gettin headers soon!

I have the Loudmouth exhaust system on my car with an SLP Y-pipe and I'm about to be buying a set of LT's (not sure which kind yet). Will the headers fit on my SLP Y-pipe or do I need to get an ORY-pipe. Also i had a set of Mac headers on the car before but they caused the motor to start leaking so much oil I had to have it completely rebuilt; so any suggestions on a good set of LT headers?

I have the same setup on my 00 SS, but I dont think you can use the slp y-pipe. you will have to buy an aftermarket one. I have heard a lot of good things about Pacesetter headers, many people say they are good quality for the price. Plus TSP has them with the catted ypipe for $700. Or you can spend the extra money and get QTP headers and never have to worry about headers again. hope this helps

I just found on TSP where you can LT Pacesetters and a TSP Y-pipe set for only $500 bucks. I'm pretty sure that's what im gonna do!

^^^ And for $700 you can get the same setup with cats on the pipe. Do you guys think that having an ORY pipe cause cause any problems like my oil problem I mentioned above?

Just 1 more question: What's the difference between the normal headers and the race style (no egr) headers???

Just like it says. If you are gonna delete the AIR and EGR then get the race style headers. Otherwise you will have to buy blockoff plates later. I think the non emission headers look better too. Less clutter and also easier to swap plugs, as well as losing weight

What all do you have to do to delete the AIR and EGR?(is it going to be costly?).

Nevermind The headers delete the AIR and EGR. I got stupid for a minute there, but I have LS1 Edit so i can tune it once the headers are installed
