Default True duals?

Is there any power difference between a set of true duals and an exhaust setup with an ORY pipe? (newb question I know, but just thought I'd ask.)

As far as I know TDs offer a good amount of HP and great sound. I have no idea why anyone would get an OR/Y... I definitely wouldn't.

this has been beatin to death. there is a difference in hp and more importantly tq under the curve. the better the ORY (3" piping, mandrel bent, true merge collector) the slimmer the difference. if search is working the use it, there are plenty of dyno graphs floating around showing the difference.

because thats what our cars come with and it's the easiest and cheapest exhaust to run? you said that like its a stupid idea for someone to have an ORY, but thats what the majority of cars on here have.
