i see there are cold are intakes for lt1s and ls1s in the jegs magazine that i have. how much do they help and do they make your exhaust sound any better. why i as is because i don't see many people putting them on there f-bodys and my friend just put one on his stock 96 integra a cold air intake and the thing sounds like its turbo charged it sounds like he has an exhaust will a cold air intake for a v8 do the same ???

Negative on the sound. We use ram air type of induction. FTRA or functional hood scoops.

won't make the exhaust sound different. will make the intake sound different and will make on average about 10 more hp.
