Default what is this part?

driver side cylinder head toward the firewall. what is it and what does it do?
it goes into the head and has a line which goes to the passenger side head.

Looks like the PCV system. It vents excess crankcase pressure through the valve covers.

Its part of the PCV system. It vents pressure from the crankcase.

Drivers side head, and that hose tells me it's the air system. Does the large hose go around the master, down the LF fender to the air cleaner?

no the air is gone i guess it is the pcv system. i didn't expect the valve to be in the head/valve cover though. all the air and egr was removed when i installed headers.

the hose is ripped. what exactly is the part in the valve cover and what should be replaced?
