Default 1 3/4" Kooks headers with cats, kooks y-pipe installed

finally finished the install together with a new slp powerflow exhaust (came on the year 2000 SS with the performance exhaust option). The kooks headers went in without any notching, taking out the oil filter or whatsoever.
The car needs to be up from the ground at least 18 ... 20" or more
to get the drivers side in, but, with a bit of twisting, cursing etc. it does go in. After dealing with some minor header leaks I got it all tightened down right and it is not making any header ticking noises. The car is a bit louder,
but not much in idle and normal driving. I have not had the chance to step on it hard because of weather here (snow and rain) but it sop feels much better even at light throttle. I decided to replace the entire exhaust system from motor to tailpipes so it would all fit together well from the start. I did
the etire job alone in my garage. It took me probably 15 hours with many breaks plus some re - tightening the next days.
