The magazine is a club pulication, National street machine club.

The web site is streetmachineclub.com

Being that I am geezer, I don't know how to put a magazine article on the web. But if someone had a fax number I would send a copy of the article.

This is what was meant in my first thread above. The guy whom tested the intakes in the stickeys is of the opinion that the ls6 can flow more with an enlarged inlet opening. That is the reason I opened mine up. Am gonna go to a dyno day in late April & will post the results. Will include all of my mods. so that a comparison can be made. For example, a guy with a 383 stroker will most likely make more power with the enlarged inlet throttle body than someone with a 346 stock motor. In either case, the dyno will show what the LS6 intake with an 80mm inlet is capable of on a motor with mods. similar to mine. Would expect a 90mm inlet to be even better. On any motor, a large inlet will increase the VE of the engine even if there are no measured HP gains.

Let me guess... it's on the TPIS Oval, right? I was going to suggest a comparison to the FAST intake...

[EDIT] ...very competitive numbers to the FAST set up; enough to warrant a separate thread to delve into details like port matching...

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted, my scanner decided to cause me some problems.

The pages are in black and white and some of it is very hard to read. The Blue and Red text is added by me to help clarify it.

TPIS: If I made any mistakes or if you want to clarify anything, let me know and I'll make the changes.

I've got the first couple of pages up. The rest will be up in a few minutes.

56K beware, these files are huge:

I assume they would mod a stock LS6 intake for a larger opening and 80/90mm TB?

The graphs are pretty illegible. Can someone from the original copy show results comparing LS6 intake/ported TB to the LS6/TPIS TB setup by typing them out?

I am reluctant to spend $1K+ on a FAST 90/90 setup for 20hp/10-15ft/lbs tq. I thought they were $1300ish for a FAST 90/90 and then additional for porting?
