Default Ported Throttle Body Question

I have an '01, but I am using a ported throttle body that was originally on a '98.

Where the cruise control device snaps on the throttle body (on the cars w/out traction control) is too small for the bump on the throttle body.

How can I make this fit/work??????????

Also, what other differences are there between '01 and '98 throttle bodies?

Also let me note that I am thinking about switching my BBK out for this ported throttle body...

The shaft that runs through the tb that the butterfly bolts to will need to be swapped out for your stock one. The part on the outside (cam) that has the spring on it... it's a different size (98-00...01-02). You need to take off the tps sensor, remove the little screws that hold the butterfly onto the shaft, remove the butterfly, then tap firmly but without galling the end.. the shaft that the tps sensor goes onto.the whole shaft will slide out towards the cam end and you can swap the whole shaft assembly from the stock one.

Hope this helps.

You can get the cable from a 98 car and steal the end off it.
