Default went to parts place @dealership

k so I pay 5 bucks for an AIR tube bolt that connects the tube to the manifold, so i get home and begin to work im putting it in and its giving me a hard time.....its the RIGHT bolt too, so i take its stripped out inside there... I give it all i got, and the bolt snaps in half inside the thread of the AIR tube to manifold thread hole, so im immediately ******* mad. I tightened the other bolt as hard as I could and its nice and snug in there and also put the copper silicone upto 700 degrees gasket maker on the gasket and and so on, you think I can get a way with it?????? its on there drying ri ght now and havent touched it the tube doesnt swivel or anything?

I ran mine with 1.5 bolts for about 30K miles with no problems. Mine sheared off too. Just start saving up for headers.

I cross threaded mine too but I didn't break the bolt. What I did do was thread the bolt in from the bottom all the way through and it straighted the threads. I was able to put it all together correctly after that.

they really arent the best in everything , but sounds like you need a magnetic tray so you can set all your bolts and nuts onto. You should really try and get one of those. HERE

I had the same problem until a bought me a roll cart that has a tray (non magnetic). They are very helpful.

Heres a pic of what I'm talking about on the cart.

Dont mind the brands that I use, I do this for a living. As for Stanley and Craftsman I think they are really great for people that do this once in awhile such as a hobby.
