what do you think about heat wrap on headers?

The DEI i have on mine has the risen and it is very hard and if for any reason i would haft to remove it ,I dint no how i could ,Its like melted together and with no dust and no fraying and on lt had to use the stainless steel tie wraps at each end. But i would have never done if i didn't haft to .a lot of work involved
