I think I will have New Era port my factory TB, and look into an u/d pulley. Should be able to pick up a good 15 horse from those two mods, and the tb should really help the cam show its' true colors when it gets installed in a couple of weeks!!! Thanks for the input guys!!!

The SLP u/d pully is the nicest one out there. I have heard some problems with the ASP at high RPM's

that N.E.P. throttle body looks sweet but my only problem with sending mine out is they dont half the throttle shaft by what the picture shows(is there some negative effect from doin that?) and on one right up i read on how to do your own TB they used epoxy to smooth out those gapeing holes towards the top left of the TB (does that make any diffrence in a ported TB also?) or doest matter also how are the hypertech U/D pulleys theres a set someones selling i was wondering about or is slp the best way to go

If you use the epoxy, you take a huge risk of sucking that ito your engine if it ever flaked. By milling down the halfshft, it ruins the structural strength of the shaft and could cause a sticky throttle. And in regards to the u/d pulleys, the SLP is the best one to get, i have seen to many problems with other ones rotating out of whack at high r's.

how much hp can u actually gain from the ud pulley?and if im autoamtic do i have to get the smaller pulley for the alternator?or is it safe to run the stock one?any problem burning up alternators?

No, no charging problems at all with the SLP u/d pully. As for the automatics, its the same pully and its completly normal to run the stock alternator pully. It will be fine.
