good deal on True Duals (TSP)??
good deal on True Duals (TSP)?? I am buying a set of pacesetter long tubes and a true dual set up for my 98 Trans Am. I was wondering if anyone knew if some sponsors give you a deal if you buy the entire system (headers-back) from them??
Also, with that true dual system i was told that i should put new motor mounts in the car, what kind should i put in there and where can i buy them from?? thanks

First of all you really need to be asking the sponsors if they will give you a deal if you buy both. Your best chance to get any deal is gonna be with TSP which is also who makes up 90% of the true dual market with rest being a couple of other sponsors and then custom systems.
As for poly motor mounts, Prothane. Forget about energy suspension on your motor mounts. Energy suspension might make decent sway bar bushings and what not but I shut my eyes to their motor mounts when I found out they were sending zip ties to hold them on while mounting them. I have put motor mounts on more cars than I wanted to and I can say from experience, buy Prothane. Spohn, which is a sponsor on the right sells them for around 39 bucks and they ship them out quickly.

Thunder racing also sells the prothane motor mounts. You will love them.
TSP has awesome prices on the headers, and on the duals. If you can find a group purchase on the headers, you should probably get them from there though. Speed engineering seems to have a non-stop sale on pacesetters. ;
