Thanks for posting this. I had a bit of trepidation when I capped mine off. I had read about the difficulty in getting trapped air out of the LS1. I haven't driven mine much since plugging the outlets but now that you have posted this, I'll be putting things back together.

That has a scientific explanation. Its called subconscious conditioning. You do the mod basically because you expect an increase in HP. When you run your car your expectation becomes a subconscious reality so the result is you THINK you got something but if you measure objectively your gains it would show otherwise.
