My suggestion would be to screw the idea of O2 sims and go have all the emmissions codes deleted for about the same price.

If you have bungs welded on, and screw the rear O2 sensors in, you will probably get coded anyway due to the fact that they will not behave the same way that the factory. This is an expensive way to have to spend more money later

You only need to use the front 2 O2 sensors, and yes you need extensions for them. The rear 2 sensors only make sure the cats are working, they do nothing for the performance of the car. It is a better idea to just leave the rear O2 sensors unplugged and have the codes deleted than to install O2 sims.

While you are having them delete the codes for the rear O2's, you can also have them delete AIR and EGR (if you have it). I had all my stuff deleted before i ever did my exhaust work and everything still functioned properly (AIR pump came on so i KNOW that was still working), but diddnt throw any codes when i removed the pieces.

I am getting ready to install my Hooker ceramic coated Lt's and Y do these fit in just as well as the new pacesetters. I wanted to install them tonight but the tranny install took a little longer then expected.
Also do you guys reccomend grade a bolts for the headers ? Or just use the stock ones. What about for a gasket ? Stock or new ones ?

I heard they fit alright just may have a bit of trouble with the drivers side. I just used the stock bolts over and got new factory gaskets.

decoder, is that a regular scanner to scan for dtc codes, ifso i have one at work, so after the install when i start the car i should get a code for the rear 02s not being pluged in??
