I LOVE my GMMG and would pay "WAY" to much for it all over again. All 3 catbacks sound nice on LS1s so it is really all about price. My GMMG has been on for over a year and i love every second of it. I like how it is just chambered pipes with nothing internal, nothing to wear down over time. I cannot wait to hear how much of a crappy straight pipe sound i get when i put on my KOOKS LT/catted Y combo on

Personally I don't care much for the sound of the Corsa/Borla setup, also that adjustable thingy on the Borla sounds more like a pain to me. I don't to be pissing about with the exhaust all the time, but each to their own.

For me I like the sound of the GMMG, but if you want a more refined variant try the Stainless Works chambered exhaust, it's the same money as the GMMG (but has nicer tips). It also uses 3 mufflers as opposed to 2. This shouldn't inhibit flow, but will offer a more refined and toned exhaust note.

Stainless Works claim it's not as loud as a GMMG but also doesn't have the same drone characteristics either.

If you plan on running CATS I still reckon the Loudmouth is a good choice, it's stainless steel and well made. If it's not quite the right sound then make it into a Magnamouth.

$400 for the LM + $150 for a 6" round Magnaflow muffler = a lot cheaper than the others. It will probably be fairly loud though.

GMMG is the only exhaust that i have heard in person. But it ios a seriously sweet souding exhaust. I love it. I just wish i had the money for it. I just bought a LoudMouth. (A lot cheaper) I am yet to put it on though.

I've heard all three in person extensively. I've heard other cars with Corsa, and they each sound different. All of them have a similar sound, however, mine seems to be the deepest. My buddy has LT's/catted y with GMMG and it is quieter than mine at idle, but just as loud at WOT. I think his is a bit more harsh though, and others have said the same. Borla, I'm not a fan of it, it's a bit too raspy and harsh for me, but every car sounds different.

I love my Borla, and with a QTEC, there is no worry of getting dirty. Yeah, with headers and no cats', it will rasp bad. If you don' t like it, then close the cutout. I will admit I am not too much a fan with the cutout closed, but, that' s why I bought it. If I don' t feel like attracting attention, or want it quiet, close it. When I feel frisky, and want some attention, WOT baby. Functionally, I think it has the other systems hands down, but, I am a fan of the GMMG too. I think the tips look good, and they don' t really jump out at you from every angle. I wouldn' t change a thing, except a biger y-pipe.

Thanks Cash50, actually I did invert the colors, but I did it though that goofy little Microsoft Photo Editor, I think it comes w. all Windows equipped computers. There's an option called 'negative'. I hit it once, and that's what I got.

to the person with the loudmouth who has yet to install it.. drone sucks, i recommend not welding it and just dealing with having to go under your car and re-tighten the clamps every now and then, in case you decide to throw a muffler in there or another catback... i did love the sound though, but i eventually switched to a corsa on my 99 ta before i sold it.. corsa sounds good and looks have to be the best out of any catback.. if you want sound i like gmmg, its like a controlled loudmouth, kinda.. you guys that are able to have more than one f-body, im jealous.. i love my 00 ws6, but i miss my 99 and couldnt afford both

GMMG+heads and cam+ORY= one mean *** sum bitch!!!!

you want to intimidate someone, start a heads and cam car with a GMMG. shakes the earth and everything around it!!!!

granted, not everyone wants that but its music to my ears...as far as the neighbors are concerned, F' em if they cant take a joke...

i love my GMMG..cam only with KOOKS and ORY...sounds awsome.

Corsa is nice aswell but i liked the Exclusivety that GMMG offers to its customers...its a F-body only system. i like it

Borla does sound like dogshit on an ls1..i agree 100%.

goodluck in your search.

I could say the same about Corsa. Thankfully my neighbors either love me or are deaf, because the car is a beast when you start it up, rev it, etc. Even the idle is intimidating. I had my car right next to my buddy's with QTP LT's/catted Y/GMMG, and our cars are equally as loud. His gets a bit more harsh at WOT/high R's, but sounds a bit deeper in the lower RPM's. Mine is smoother, but has a more midrangey tone to it.
