Default Borla Corsa or GMMG?

Been listening to the sounds. Each seems to be quiet until being romped on.
Top of motor is built bottom end is stock. Borla Corsa or GMMG. Listened to all 3 and they all sound a little different but equaly nice. The Borla and the GMMG sound closer than the Corsa. The corsa seems to have the loudest scream at WOT. Going to drop some serious coin on one of these systems have to make the right choice. Looking for experience from peeps good and bad.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I opted for the GMMG. I love it...

Had a Corsa, got rid of it due to poor quality of the muffler and it really was not the sound I wanted. Been running a GMMG with Kooks LT and a high flow catted Y, sounds mean as hell when you get on it!!! For regular driving it is a bit loud but depending on what you like I guess that is a personal opinion. Inside drone is really not noticeable I have not had the chance to hear a Borla in person. That's my .02 cents, good luck.

i had the loudmouth at first, which was too loud especially after i put longtubes on. i couldnt see getting a gmmg to be just alittle less quieter than the loudmouth. i got a deal on the corsa and i really like it!

Borla gets my vote here. Million mile warranty, plus its adjustable for those days when you are not feeling rowdy. All you have to do is put on the restrictor plate and send the flow through the muffler. Or leave it wide open like I do.

As Long as you keep the Cats ON you Car. GMMG is to Sweet. If you want to take them off then go with borla or corsa (IMO)

Also how is the flow compared by all three. the GMMG seems to have an advantage right now, but the Borla being adjustable is nice. The Corsa is cheaper for me to buy than the Borla. How much is the gmmg? I will be keeping the cats. Just want to remove slp catback and put on new choice

I vote for the borla. it's adjustable, some what. i've been running 1/4 plate. i like it open as well, but lost gas mileage due to the right foot, lol. sounds really mean at WOT. i tried the closed plate for about 30 min. way to quite.

i also like the gmmg, but it's not adjustable. i don't think you could go wrong with either the borla or gmmg.

the borla sounds like dogshit when you open it up without cats. i dont run cats on my gmmg, and when i put my cam in and a forged 347, it eliminated my rasp that i had when i ran the stock cam.

if you really want to refine the gmmg run cats, from what i understand that freshens up the sound quite a bit. i may do that down the road, but its an expensive option. an xr-1 is cheaper.

Borla gets my vote but like a few other people have said...I haven't heard GMMG / Corsa in person. I like the tuneability of the Borla and the warranty,I've had it on my car for over 40,000 milles and it still looks as good as day one. I like the aggresive tone it puts out.....via Hooker LT'S, Cat delete, Hooker ORY.

If you see exhaust tips that means you are losing the race.

Who did you go with for your 347?

I have TSP duals $400 (now), 2 cats for $110, 2 SWEET magnaflow tips for $180, and pipes ran under the axle/cats installed for $130.

Thats $820. A little more than those setups, and sounds AWESOME. It would flow unbeatable for $710 if you diddnt want it extra quiet like me. Thats really the only reason i'm running the cats.

The GMMG doesnt sound too bad, and the Borla i heard only sounded mean because of the Magic Stick v.3 that was pumping at the other end of it. Never heard a corsa before, but if it involves a y-pipe, i'm against it.

GMMG as my first choice. Second would be Magnaflow, then the others.

Corsa! Come on people, it's probably the best F-body exhaust out there. It is fairly quiet, yet defined at idle, deep and smooth when cruising, and at WOT, it has a unique, midrangey scream to it. Always clear and smooth, yet mean when it has to be, it isn't a typical deep and rumbly sound, but a more exotic roar. Perfect in my opinion. Best tips too.

I voted corsa, it sounds good no matter what else you are running. Ive heard it on all kinds of setups and have had it on both of my fbods. Plus it looks better than the other two....

I usually agree with you, man, but I am definitely not seeing eye to eye with you right now. My car is anything but 'crappy straight pipe sound', thank you.
