You are correct, it doesn't matter which size you use to go out the back with, clearance will be nearly the same with either. The only clearance lost would be between the exhaust and the sway bar running under the rear end.

on mine the flanges are no lower than the mufflers and the only place where clearance is even close is on the driver side where the pipe goes under the panhard bar, but only when the suspension lifts. Thanks again Blur Ledoux's did a good job on the tails for me. I never would have imagined it would have quieted down so much just adding the tails.

How do those Magnaflow 3" cats flow compared to Random Tech or others? Basically, just wondering why you picked em. I got 1 7/8 LT/ORY/LM setup now and, yep, you guessed it, it's raspfest 2006 in and out. Definitely considering putting cats back on the damn thing. It's horribly obnoxious, but I'm trying not to kill the exhaust flow of the 408 and stepped headers. I heard random tech's were pretty good but still lookin around for real world feedback. BTW, sounds friggin awesome!

I saw your car there! I pulled in to look at it, but it looked like it still had the LM system on it, so left.

Isn't the car much more enjoyable to drive now? Only problem is now i get to hear all the ticking and my big *** exhaust leak!

I bought the magnaflow cats because they are $50 a piece! They look pretty big and probably flow just as good as the random tech's. No damn way i'm paying $400 bux (or however much 2 of them cost), just to make the car get slower lol. I remember there actually being a page where someone put a bunch of cats on a flow bench or somthing......

The car only had the LM pipes from over the axle to the tips, it still had the dumped duals on it though, they just added the tails and welded on the LM tips.

My bad I didn't know you where talking about them not being extended yet. I like it, I am getting used to the new sound it has, it is a lot tamer inside then it was before, only draw back is that it doesn't sound like you are going as fast as you really are. I mean 80 now sounds like what 60-65 sounded like before, means I gotta watch the speedo more. lol

I think they just use the same box for all of them, says "Magnaflow Performance" then it says "Magnaflow Performance Diesel" beside it.

You've never been to Taco Bell?

Looks cool...I cant wait to put duals on my TA WS6. Problem is that I have the Eibach pro-kit and for some reason the rear was lowered alot more that the front. I have a loudmouth on there for now that hits on evry speed bump and its only about an inch past my subframe connectors...hahaha.Great car...looks awesome and I bet it sounds even better.

Nice set up man. I got the same exhaust with 3" pipes. I want to get 2.5" tailpipes to run under the axle and out the back. Where did you pick up those flanges?

Is it necessary to bump a thread that is 4 years old?
