Loudest Intake?
I have a Volant on my bird as well as straight pipes for exhaust. The Volant has a very nice sound to it. The only time you don't hear it is when the engine is off, and then it just looks bad ***.

i have a custom volant style intake by Tranzaman00 and the thing sounds great. The exhaust overpowers it, but you can hear the induction during part throttle and wot. Easy driving, it sounds like a woosh, and wot it growls and screams.
I have the FIPK and like others have said it's pretty loud. It's about the loudest intake I have heard. It doesn't matter when you get LT headers though. After that If you hear your intake something is very wrong.

TA, where did you get your dual filter Volant. I'm thinking of getting one but the only one I can find is the single one. Did the stop making the dual? I don't think it'll flow that much better, but it sure looks pimp.
EDIT: n/m I so used to parts being cross-compatible between Camaros and 'Birds I didn't realize that Volant the intake for the two is different

Well, back in my DSM days it became apparent you can hear the intake more if the air is going through metal tubing over rubber. I suppose you could get an open element filter and attack it to some PVC pipe that went to the TB.

if u want that whistling sound without the $ of a supercharger or turbo, the Fast 90mm makes a loud sucking noise compared to stock . the first time i heard one i thought it was a supercharger, but nope. this will still run u around $1200 with a TB but it will run like a beast also. but if you are just talking about lids than i would say fipk or volant just from what ive read in this thread...
