Moving Temp Gauge Ls1 Vette

Hello, Wanting To Know The Normal Driving Temp Reading On A 97 Vette? I Replaced The Water Pump And Thermo, But Can't Keep Temp Under 200 Degrees At Idle..could This Be The Fan Or Something Else?

Mine has the same issue, I think I read somewhere that the temp gauge reads funky and that a real temperature gauge is your only real solution.

Moving Temp Gauge..

My Gauge Has Went Up To About 214 Without The Fan Coming On. This Is All After Changing Out The Water Pump And The Thermostat. Never Had A Problem Before Then. I Could Here The Fan When It Came On. Could This Be A Sensor, Relay, Fuse Or A Broken Fan?

Don't trust the stock gauge. It's a more of a weather vane than a guage
