I use the Denso Irridiums. I'm under no delusions that they make more power, but with my toddler helping it takes about a week to change the plugs. I need plugs I can leave in for a while

my car had the denso's i used the ngk's this time and it is runnin rougher i dunno i might go back to denso's or try delco's now

I ran AC Delco Rapid Fire 3's the first time and it had never ran smoother. I have the TR55's in it now and they work just fine (although not as smooth) but the price difference was a no brainer. The delco's were $8/ea. Just glad I got a 50% off mail in rebate.

I still am mad at the shop that pulled them out and replaced them during some motor work. They were in for 5k miles and they said they looked burned up!?

It has to have better flame propagation, doesn't it? When I took my stock plugs out after 75,000 miles they looked great. I haven't pulled the IX's to look at them since they went in 13,000 miles ago, so I don't know yet how well I'll be able to read the thin wire plugs after use; but I expect to see carbon or other extra stuff around the insulator like a regular plug. I'll check them when I swap cams next month, and then each time I check/swap the springs...

Well after this thread, I decided to pick up some NGK TR55's yesterday. Running good so far

Took me almost 3 hrs to put them in (and I coudln't get to the 8th one, plus I ran out of daylight). It was my first time so I figured it wasn't too bad. When I do them again, I could probably squeeze em out in a little under 2hrs
