Power Steering pump question

Power Steering pump question I guess im in the right area...am i correct in saying that an ss has a different ps pump than a z? Might this make a difference when swapping stock 16" wheels to 275 40 17s? I dont know if its just a coincidence but it seems that i am getting noise from the steering area, plus the pump is wet on the outside, and the pulley has thrown a little little bit of fluid on itself, like it spun out of the center. It doesnt seem to be using any fluid though. Thanks.
Depending on where it's wet...it may be that the shaft seal is leaking...very common once you get some miles on them. Go buy a shaft seal for $5 from the dealership and rent a P.S. pump pulley puller from auto parts store and you can have it changed in 5 min.

sweet. I work at advance on the side, so im good there. Thanks for the info. I kinda figured that it would be a little shaft seal. It looks like its leaking a little there and spinning away from it all over the pulley. My guess to the rest of it being wet was it boiling over thru the cap. Thanks for the info!
