Default Fipk

FIPK-I have it now and its a great idea, like how it comes with the smooth bellow piece, but if it was sealed off from the engine and brought cold air in from the bottom I think it would be better. I was looking for a volant intake to switch too but a used one, and no one was selling em so I was forced to make my own. I made a box that seals to the hood and used the same filter from the FIPK. I also cut a whole in that box to bring cold air in from the bottom as well as using the stock Ram air hood. I haven't been to the track yet to test but the seat of the pants tells me theres a little more air flowing in there. I will have to post some pics. After driving around for a while the plastic box gets a little warm but the air tract and filter etc stay cool. We'll see what the times are at the track.
