True Duals

Panhard Rod location can be an issue with duals, but not always.
Things to watch out for. It you plan on running an aftermarket body mounted torque arm then it limits the space available for a dual system, espcially if you plan on using an X pipe. So plan ahead so you don't have to redo things twice.
Also a GOOD Y pipe setup will scavenge in the same manor as an X pipe and as long as you choose the correct size tubing and good enough flowing mufflers it will also flow and perform as well as a dual setup.
Simple guide:
-Bolton car to bolton mild cam ~300-365rwhp = no loss (or very low) with a good 3" catback.
-Bolton car with a mild to hotish cam ~380-400rwhp = fine with a 3" catback and will only see minimal loss.
-Bolt on + h/c ~400+rwhp = 2.5" duals or 3.5" Y
-Bolt on + FI ~460+rwhp = 2.5" duals or 3.5-4" Y
-FI 530+rwhp = 2.5"-3" duals or 4" Y
-FI 580 and onwards rwhp = 3" duals
Above is only IMO of course
