You really want to grind the stop by ruler, not
voltage, but the voltage wants to be about 0.6
closed and below 4.7 open. If you run over 4.7
for more than a few seconds at a time you will
set a code.

How are we supposed to use a ruler to grind the bump stop (I mean, what measurements are we supposed to use)? How thick should it be? I have been searching for the correct way to do the bump stop mod, but I can't seem to find a good write up.

i took my throttle body into work and machined the bump stop down and then taped a set screw and jam nut to adjust the throttle stop. pretty easy if you have access to a machine shop.
