Default Any notable sound gains with LTs?

Ive been told by numerous people that I wont notice any differance in sound when it comes to LTs with my current LM catback.
Is this true?

I noticed a huge difference in sound...both quality and volume. The tone got deeper, and the volume went up. I think you'll notice a big difference...and with a LM exhaust, so will your neighbors

Oh yes. LTs made my Magnaflow catback a completely different animal altogether.

Generally, the sound gets deeper, louder, and definitely more crisp and sharp. My Magnaflow went from rumbly, low, and somewhat smooth to a sharp rumble, some crackle, and an all-around louder tone.

I went 2 stages with my exhaust.

Stage 1
Paceseter LT's and ORY stock catback

Sound: Way better than stock, not too noisy at all. Sounded pretty beefy.

Stage 2
GMMG catback

Sound:
Idle - about the same just a little louder
WOT - Holy ****!!!

Awesome. That just warms my heart to hear. Damn near everyone Ive talked to about my LTs say I will only get a deeper tone at most. Which was a little discouraging, but I dont let people who dont own a car like mine talk me out of something.
Glad to hear it for sure! I couldnt really tell a differance on ls1sounds or whatever that website is. Its so hard to tell how good something sounds out of crappy computer speakers.

I'd like to put LTs on my stock catback. I haven't heard any setups in person like that yet. I don't want it terribly loud b/c our baby will be born in May. I just wonder how much louder it'd be than my stock catback and gutted cats I'm currently running.

You have to heard someone's in person (Mid-lengths anyway)......And mine is fairly quite until the exhaust clamps come loose and the pipes come apart I'll let you listen to mine again (without the track noise) when I come down there to put in my cutout if it ever gets off of backorder.

They don't know what the hell they're talkin about.

Of course you will see a power gain as well as a differance in sound.

Yea, all the noise at the track made it hard to hear. Give me a holler whenever you head out this way. Which cutout did you order?

I order the flowtech 3" from Thunder, but It's on national backorder. I'm gonna just order a summit 3" if they don't come in by next week.

I have LM and before I installed LTs and ORY it was pretty loud. After I installed the LT ORY it was extremely loud. A noticeable diffrence at idle, and huge diffrence on the floor. Very Pleased!!!!! I knew the sound would be diffrent the second I saw the ORY compared to the stock Y-pipe.

Whoever said it won't get louder must be deaf, I have pacesetters ory, and a rumbler cat back, it's definately louder than with the stock manifolds, not crazy loud at idle, and driving around town, but @ WOT........... HOLY ****
